MATH ACTIVITIES

With the “Haunted House Math Activity” children recognized the tag numbers and match them to same number ghosts! Using ice cube trays and scooping red apples, we reinforced rote counting 1 to 10! Then older children reviewed numbers 1 to 10 with NUMBER BINGO! Advertisements

An area of the preschool has been transformed into a cute wardrobe, laundry and ironing room! HANDS ON VEGETABLES!

Surprise and joy appeared on children’s face when they used chopped vegetables as stamps. This hands-on activity fulfilled different learning goals such as: – learning vegetables names (literacy and communication) – finding out the correlation between chopped vegetables and print shapes (creative thinking) – discovering of new colors by mixing (art and science).
