On Thursday, Sept 26, we enjoyed a science class. We made an experiment that made the sound like a chicken. We used a paper cup, string, a paper clip, and wet tissue. The kids enjoyed the project a lot!!
On Sat. Sept 22nd, the SOMOS Media Class made a large-scale “News Board” for Mexico based on this month’s country study. Each had their own theme to cover from arts, festivals, food, etc.

We made mini sombreros ( Mexican Hat ) ! With paper plates and paper cups, kids decorated their Mexican hats with origami, beads and feather. They chose their favorite colors. They glued beads on the hats. They enjoyed making their own sombreros!
